Welcome to the brand new Grassroots Sports website.

Our mission here at Grassroots Sports is to spread the word on new and emerging sports in Australia.

Up until now, our efforts have focused on the Grassroots Sports Podcast, in which we have gathered athletes, trainers and organisers from as many sports as possible to talk about their love for the game.

While we are continuing the podcast, the time has come for us to grow.

This morning, the Grassroots team woke bright and early – if they went to sleep at all – to launch an exciting new project: a news website devoted to all things grassroots sports.

We will be covering all your favourite sports as they make headway in Australia, including ice hockey, baseball, gridiron and roller derby – as well as others we find along the way.

We are excited to have another opportunity to share our love for emerging sports, and want you to join us in the journey.
